  • Shopping FAQ's
  •
  • How do I shop on your site?
  • It's easy. Every piece available for sale will have an "ADD TO CART" type button attached to it. Simply select the size and color (if applicable) and the quantity, and click the button to place that item into your secure shopping cart. Your items are tallyed as you shop and you can always view your shopping cart. When you're finished shopping, follow the prompts to checkout. You can pay with ANY major credit card - or - a PayPal account if you have one.
  •
  • What is your shipping policy?
  • Jewelry is light in weight and bulk and I don't want to be in the shipping business or spend all my time drumming up some complicated shipping price matrix - so all orders ship FREE to the continental United States, regardless of the number of items ordered. It's that simple.
  •
  • Where else will you ship?
  • Shipping outside of the continental U.S. can get very involved and expensive and I want to be as fairly priced as I can. If you are located off the mainland, or in another country, and wish to make a purchase, please contact me for a shipping quote BEFORE you place your order and I will do my best to get your item to you as quickly and as cheaply as possible.
  •
  • I don't have a PayPal account, can I still shop on your site?
  • Yes! EPcrafted uses the PayPal system as our payment processor because they are the most familiar and trusted name in the consumer ecommerce industry. PayPal readily accepts payments from all major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover without the need for you to own, or sign-up for, a PayPal account.
  •
  • Is shopping on your site safe?
  • Yes! Shopping on EPcrafted.com is exceptionally safe. I've left it to the professionals to handle the financial transactions. I do not "capture" any of your credit card information. The PayPal shopping cart system is a proven and reliable method of conducting business on the Internet.
  •
  • Can I pay by cash or check?
  • If you see me at a local exhibit or show, you can certainly pay in cash. Otherwise, I strongly discourage sending cash in the mail. It's too easily lost or stolen, and I can't be responsible if that occurs. I will accept personal or business checks, but your item will not ship until your check clears my bank (usually 7-10 business days).
  •
  • Do you require a deposit on custom work?
  • Yes, I do. Generally speaking, I require a minimum 50% deposit on custom work with the balance due prior to shipment. Contact me for details.
  •
  • Do you charge sales tax?
  • If you live in, or the item ships to, South Carolina I am required by law to charge 6% tax on your purchase. So far, SC is the only state where I am required to collect tax on internet sales and my system will automatically add SC state sales tax to your order at checkout.

Customer Service FAQ's

Do you do custom or commissioned work?

Yes, I make jewelry for any and all occasions and can match your dress, shoes, or hair! You can describe the color, style, and size you want (or even mail me a swatch) and I'll coordinate any piece or pieces you choose. Contact me for information.

Do you do repairs on jewelry other than the pieces you make?

Yes, yes, and yes! I do repairs quite often. Of course, every piece of jewelry is different so there is no way to give an estimate unless I see the piece. If you contact first me about a repair, you may be able to either email or text photos before actually bringing the item here. Then hopefully we can decide what needs to be done and come up with an estimate. You can also mail the broken piece to me. I even have a "drop box", if you want to bring something when I'm not in my studio.

Forget repairs, I LOST one of my earrings! Now what?

Don't panic, I have lots of stones, beads, etc. Hopefully, I'll have what I need to duplicate your earring. If I cannot match your earring exactly, an alternative is to "rearrange" some things so we wind up with two earrings, very similar to the original.

I have a necklace but I want to turn it into a bracelet (or earrings, or ...) Can you do that?

Most times, yes! Very often, a grandmother's necklace will become bracelets for granddaughters. Even if you think you may not have enough beads, I may have them, or we can come up with an idea that uses a few other beads but still maintains the design.

What if I need custom jewelry for an entire bridal party?

I've hand-crafted jewelry for several bridal parties. It's not a problem as long as you contact me to schedule this project in advance. At a minimum I would require 4 weeks advance notice for larger bridal parties along with a 50% non-refundable deposit to work on your order.

What if I want a piece with different stones or metal finishes than what is shown on the site?

Some of my pieces can be modified or commissioned to be fabricated with different materials according to your wishes. Contact me for details.

Classes FAQ's

Where is your studio located?

My home studio is in the northwest part of Greenville, not far from Furman University.

Is your studio accessible for those with disabilities?

My studio entrance is located at the rear of the property and there is a walkway with two small sets of steps so it is not considered handicapped accessible.

When is your studio open?

EPcrafted studio is only open for scheduled classes or by appointment. There are no public hours or walk-ins.

Can I bring my children, grandchildren, or pets to your studio?

Children are not permitted due to liability issues plus classes are a time to relax, enjoy, and focus on learning something new. No animals are permitted in the studio (this INCLUDES service animals, due to allergies).

What if I don't want to take a "class", I just need some help with something?

Sure! I'm happy to help you with design work, a concept, finishing a piece, etc. Unless it's out of the ordinary, I charge $10 an hour. You can bring your own materials, use mine (at a minimal fee per item), or a combination. We can work out a day and time and get your project done!

How do I pay for my classes or materials?

You may register for any scheduled class here on my website and you pay for your registration using any major credit card. Materials fees, when applicable, are paid in the studio on the day of the class. In the studio I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

What if I've taken one of your classes but I still need help or forget the next step??

No problem! We'll work out a day and time and go over everything you need to know. I charge $10 an hour, you can bring your own materials, use mine (at a minimal fee per item), or a combination. You can bring the project you started, or begin it in my studio.

Do you have a restroom available?

Yes. There is a private restroom available in the studio.

If I register for a class, how will I know exactly where to go?

When you register for a class, I will email you the address and all pertinent information to get you here! I ask that you not share that information with others as I prefer not to post my home address online. Please respect my family's privacy.

Can I bring food to a class?

My teaching space is limited and the focus is on the project. You may bring a light snack.

Is there anything else I should know before I register for a class?

Yes. My studio is in my home, in a residential neighborhood, and is therefore subject to some restrictions that you normally wouldn't encounter in a commercial location with regard to parking, etc. Please be sure to read and understand my Class and Studio polices BEFORE you register as these must be followed. The policies are on every class page but I will also post them below in case you missed them...

Studio Policy:

My home studio is in Greenville, not far from Furman University. Parking is limited, please park on the street along the front of my property, not blocking mail delivery. My studio entrance is located at the rear of the property and is not handicapped accessible. Just follow the walkway on the right of the house, there are two small sets of steps. There’s a doorbell at the back entrance although it will be accessible during class sessions. When you register for a class or make an appointment, I will email you the address and all pertinent information to get you here! NO children and NO animals are permitted (this INCLUDES service animals, due to allergies). There is NO smoking inside the studio; there is an outside covered patio for smoking or vaping. EPcrafted studio is open during scheduled classes or by appointment only. I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. There is a private restroom available in the studio. The EPcrafted phone number is 864-214-6522

Class Policies:

Scheduled Classes have a fixed price and this gets paid in advance. If the class is full and another date is not added, you can schedule an individual class. If the class has a kit or materials fee, this can be paid on the day of the class, as these may vary in price. You will need to purchase the kit if specified because the beads and/or stringing materials are sized to work together properly for that project. I am keeping my class size very small so scheduled classes can only be refunded if cancelled the previous day. This gives me time to contact someone waiting. Reading glasses are available for use during classes. Tools will be provided for use during all classes. I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

Individual Classes may be requested by emailing me at eileen@epcrafted.com or use the “Contact” tab here on my site. An individual class generally will cost $25 an hour per student, the first hour must be prepaid. Then the charge is $6 per 15-minute increments, payable when the class is over. Practice materials and use of tools are usually included in the price; materials for any finished jewelry (if desired) will be additional. Individual classes can only be rescheduled or refunded if cancelled the previous day. Also choose days/times that work for you and I will try to accommodate your schedule. After we make day and time arrangements, I will email an invoice for the first hour.

Group Classes are accepted on a case-by-case basis. If you want to attend one of my classes with a group of 5 or more, I may be able to modify my studio to accommodate up to 6 students. Email me at eileen@epcrafted.com or use the “Contact” tab here on my site to request a group class. I’ll arrange a separate day for your group, and invoice each student, or just the group leader if preferred. Prepping my studio to adapt to a larger group takes a bit more time so there will be no refunds within 48 hours of the class date.
